Van Mahotsav Celebration: Spreading Awareness and Promoting Tree Plantation 2024

Van Mahotsav is an annual tree planting festival celebrated throughout India to honor and pay respect to the mighty creators and the lungs of Mother Earth.

 He who plants a tree, plants hope!” In relation to the quote, our school observed Van Mahotsav with great enthusiasm and dedication. The students at My Public School took part in various activities that aimed at raising awareness about the importance of trees and the need to protect them. They created posters highlighting the significance of trees in maintaining ecological balance, supporting wildlife, and ensuring a healthy environment. The students each contributed to the initiative by planting saplings in pots and decorating them, making the school corridors vibrant and colorful. Through these activities, the students gained a deeper understanding of the vital role of nature and plants in our survival. They learnt that without plants, not only would human survival be threatened, but the beauty of our world would also be greatly diminished.

in the end the Van Mahotsav celebration was a resounding success, thanks to the active participation of our students. By creating awareness posters and planting saplings, our students demonstrated their commitment to environmental conservation. We hope to continue this initiative and inspire others to join us in promoting tree plantation and protecting our environment.
