World_Polio_Day Celebration in Our School
Our school observed World Polio Day on October 24th with a special assembly, aiming to raise awareness and emphasize the significance of eradicating polio. The event highlighted the global efforts to combat this debilitating disease. The day was celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Jonas Salk, developer of the inactivated poliovirus vaccine. Students created posters and paintings on polio’s devastating effects and the importance of vaccination among students. The special assembly highlighted and honoured the millions of healthcare workers, volunteers, and donors contributing to polio eradication thus inspiring polio-free world for future generations.
Our school’s World Polio Day celebration successfully raised awareness and inspired students to become ambassadors for a polio-free world. We reaffirm our commitment to supporting global efforts to eradicate this disease.
