Raising awareness about physical health, mental wellbeing, and various measures to combat global discussions health challenges , World Health Day was celebrated in My Public School on 8th April 2023 under the aegis of Eco and Health Club ‘Sansadhan’ wherein students were sensitized to remain healthy by eating nutritious food, fruits and vegetables.

Capturing the theme of 2023 given by the World Health Organization “Health for All”, Child Adolescent Nutrition Session was organised on the Orientation Day of Parents and Students of Classes IX and X. Principal Ms. Sangeeta Rekhi ma’am conducted the session where she spoke on common health problems of adolescent. She also mentioned about critical phase of life, in which adolescents experience rapid growth and development which impacts their lifelong health and wellbeing so she laid emphasis on good eating habits and the importance of sports & exercise in our daily lives.

Moving further students of Class X presented PPT on “Year of Millets” highlighting the importance of nutrients in our daily life. They also presented PPT on various topics related to nutrition as a subject enrichment activity which was greatly acknowledged by Principal ma’am and Parents.

All students and parents enthusiastically participated in, talks and sharing awareness messages. In the end students also pledged to keep their mind and bodies healthy. Overall the session was very fruitful and had fulfilled its objective of developing a deep understanding of the essential link between individual and collective health for a sustainable life.
