On the occasion of Road Safety Week under the aegis of Social Clause Club ‘Bliss’ and in order to pay glowing tribute to the revolutionary freedom fighter My Public School celebrated the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Bose on January 23, 2023, as ‘Parakram Divas’ to honour and remember Netaji’s indomitable spirit and selfless service to the nation. Students and teachers wrote poems and made posters expressing the valor of the brave soldier and torchbearer of India.
Also as an attempt to create awareness by sensitizing students towards the importance of road safety and to make them responsible denizens of the country Human Chain was constructed by the students and staff, joining hands to bring change in society with a vision to make safer roads and to save irreplaceable human life. Apart from this, Road safety week activities under Swacchata Pakhwada were initiated by the school Principal Ms. Sangeeta Rekhi wherein she addressed the students thereby reiterating their role in following road safety rules & creating awareness about the same.
An array of activities such as poster making, slogan writing, and integrated plan about the safety aspects, traffic signs, and signals were explained to students. Both teachers and students administer the oath wherein they promised to follow safety norms and to help save lives in order to enhance their civic sense towards society.
Overall the activity was highly informative and enlightening which not only augmented the experience of the students but also encouraged them to take initiative in case of any emergency.
