INTERNATIONAL PLASTIC BAG FREE DAY – 2024

International Plastic Bag Free Day is observed annually on July 3 to raise awareness about the problem of plastic pollution.
In order to raise awareness about the environmental impact of plastic bags My Public School observed Plastic Bag Free Day on 3rd July 2024. Students raised awareness through pledge by saying No to plastic bags. They also made posters and banners to raise awareness among students and the community. They also gave speech making everyone aware about use of paper bag which served as a reminder to individuals, communities, and governments. By encouraging the adoption of sustainable practices and policies, the day aimed to minimise the use of single-use plastics like plastic bags, which are harmful to ecosystems, wildlife, and human health.
The day also promoted global cooperation towards creating a cleaner and healthier planet for current and future generations.
