Freezing and Melting activity
INCLINATION TOWARDS SCIENCE
It was a great way for kindergarten students to learn about freezing and melting. The hands-on experience of freezing water and observing the ice melting helped the students understand the concept of changing states of matter in a fun and engaging way.
Through this science activity, UKG students learned about freezing and melting. They learned that water turns into ice when it is frozen and that ice is hard and cold. They also learned that when ice melts, it turns back into water and that the flower and leaves can move around in the water, which they have plucked and put in water before freezing it. This activity helped the students understand the concept of changing states of matter and how things can change from solid to liquid and vice versa.
