VEER GATHA PROJECT

The Veer Gatha project aims to raise awareness about the brave acts and sacrifices of the Gallantry Award winners among school students. They are handed over twice a year i.e on Republic Day and Independence Day. In order to disseminate the details of acts of bravery and the life stories of these brave-hearts among the students, the Central Board of Secondary Education has launched the Veer Gatha Project where students of My Public School participated in a plethora of activities to prepare projects in the form of poems, paragraph writing, paintings and PowerPoint presentations on the lives of gallantry award winners. To ensure that students understand the sacrifices and the bravery of these veterans, a motivational and inspirational session was also organised. Major General (retd) Ashwini Kumar, the chief guest illuminated students with his wonderful discourse. The presentation and video explained by him gave a close view of the sacrifices of our soldiers so that we can live a better tomorrow. In the end Major Gen(retd) Ashwini Kumar gave career counseling to our students who are looking forward to pursuing their career in NDA or IMA. On the whole, it was a highly enlightening experience.
